The cans from No Heroes brewing company are some of the most aesthetic I have come across, however with the range, all but a couple of cans, being metallic silver (and therefore highly reflective), the challenge was to capture images of the cans without showing all of the photography and lighting equipment reflected in them. With an intricate set-up of lights/reflectors and diffuser panels this was achieved in camera and so I was rather pleased to achieve the desired look with very little post-processing work involved. I had free reign to capture the cans and felt that a monochromatic look (shooting against a grey backdrop) would show the 'can only' shots off to their best advantage with specific lighting arrangements giving the cans some depth, whilst a warmer was feel introduced for glass and ingredient shots.
I found this to be a really fascinating read, and I appreciate how well you explained everything. Although many articles discuss these concepts, yours truly made them simple to comprehend. Because they helped relate the ideas to actual circumstances, I particularly enjoyed the practical examples.
